Australian Defence Force makes use of Woolwich psy-op

THE Australian Defence Force has launched an urgent security review in the wake of the brutal murder of a soldier in London.
The brazen attack in broad daylight on a busy street has also prompted officers to demand an examination of security at Defence Headquarters in Canberra where the public has unrestricted access to top brass and key buildings.
It is the only Defence facility in the country without public access restrictions such as checkpoints.
"There is nothing to stop a nut case with a machete from hacking into someone in uniform or a terrorist from driving a fuel truck right up to a building at Russell offices," a Defence source said.
Security alert levels have not been raised, but Defence has urged all its uniformed staff to exercise caution following the heinous murder of a soldier by two men wielding knives and a pistol and spouting radical Islamist propaganda.
The home-grown attackers spoke with African/London accents as they demanded to be filmed by onlookers after the murder. The images went viral in the Internet.

Vice-Chief of the Defence Force Air Marshal Mark Binskin said the Australian Defence Force took protection of personnel, whether on operations or in Australia, very seriously.
"We are watching closely what happened in the UK. We do have people in the UK and we are making sure that their security is being considered ... with the UK armed forces," he told reporters.
Air Marshal Binskin said Defence worked closely with other government security agencies on threat assessments.
"We are having a word with them today just to make sure there is nothing there that would cause us to increase the security. At the moment we don't see anything," he said.
