Julian Assange's speech outside Ecuador's London embassy . Full transcript

 consciouslifenews.com

“Can you hear me?
“I am here today because I cannot be there with you today. But thank you for coming. Thank you for your resolve and your generosity of spirit.
“On Wednesday night, after a threat was sent to this embassy and the police descended on this building, you came out in the middle of the night to watch over it and you brought the world’s eyes with you.
“Inside this embassy, after dark, I could hear teams of police swarming up into the building through its internal fire escape. But I knew there would be witnesses. And that is because of you.
“If the UK did not throw away the Vienna conventions the other night, it is because the world was watching. And the world was watching because you were watching.
“So, the next time somebody tells you that it is pointless to defend those rights that we hold dear, remind them of your vigil in the dark before the Embassy of Ecuador.
“Remind them how, in the morning, the sun came up on a different world and a courageous Latin America nation took a stand for justice.
And so, to those brave people. I thank President Correa for the courage he has shown in considering and in granting me political asylum.
“And I also thank the government, and in particular Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino, who upheld the Ecuadorian constitution and its notion of universal rights in their consideration of my asylum. And to the Ecuadorian people for supporting and defending this constitution.
“And I also have a debt of gratitude to the staff of this embassy, whose families live in London and who have shown me the hospitality and kindness despite the threats we all received.
“This Friday, there will be an emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of Latin America in Washington DC to address this very situation.
“And so, I am grateful to those people and governments of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Argentina, Peru, Venezuela, and to all other Latin American countries who have come out to defend the right to asylum.
“And to the people of the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia who have supported me in strength, even when their governments have not. And to those wiser heads in government who are still fighting for justice. Your day will come.
“To the staff, supporters and sources of Wikileaks, whose courage and commitment and loyalty has seen no equal.
“To my family and to my children who have been denied their father. Forgive me, we will be reunited soon.
“As Wikileaks stands under threat, so does the freedom of expression and the health of all our societies. We must use this moment to articulate the choice that is before the government of the United States of America.
“Will it return to and reaffirm the values, the revolutionary values it was founded on, or will it lurch off the precipice dragging us all into a dangerous and oppressive world, in which journalists fall silent under the fear of prosecution and citizens must whisper in the dark?
“I say it must turn back. I ask President Obama to do the right thing. The United States must renounce its witch-hunts against Wikileaks. The United States must dissolve its FBI investigation.
“The United States must vow that it will not seek to prosecute our staff or our supporters. The United States must pledge before the world that it will not pursue journalists for shining a light on the secret crimes of the powerful.
“There must be no more foolish talk about prosecuting any media organisation; be it Wikileaks, or be it the New York Times.
“The US administration’s war on whistleblowers must end.
“Thomas Drake, William Binney and John Kirakou and the other heroic whistleblowers must – they must – be pardoned or compensated for the hardships they have endured as servants of the public record.
“And to the Army Private who remains in a military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, who was found by the United Nations to have endured months of torturous detention in Quantico, Virginia and who has yet – after two years in prison – to see a trial: he must be released.
“Bradley Manning must be released.
“And if Bradley Manning did as he is accused, he is a hero and an example to us all and one of the world’s foremost political prisoners.
“Bradley Manning must be released.
“On Wednesday, Bradley Manning spent his 815th day of detention without trial. The legal maximum is 120 days.
“On Thursday, my friend Nabeel Rajab, President of the Bahrain Human Rights Centre, was sentenced to three years in prison for a tweet. On Friday, a Russian band were sentenced to two years in jail for a political performance.
“There is unity in the oppression. There must be absolute unity and determination in the response.
“Thank you.”

Strategy of Tension; the Italian job

The most prominent example of the use of violence for political gain was the Strategy of Tension in the 1970s by the prominent political party in Italy, the Christian Democratic Party, and the former neo-fascist political party Movimento Sociale Italiano (MSI). In the Strategy of Tension campaign, the extreme center right political parties, supported by the P2 secret Masonic lodge, conducted three well-known terrorist operations in Italy with the goal of blaming center left political dissidents for the terrorist attacks. Terror increased people's desire for security at the expense of their desire for change. The party that suffered most from terror was the PCI, because it proposes the renewal of society in the most radical and unpredictable way. This is the Strategy of Tension.
At least 13 were killed at Milan's Banca dell' Agricoltura in Piazza Fontana on 12 December 1969. Over 4,000 arrests were made in the aftermath of the bombings and one of the suspects, Guiseppe Pinelli, died after falling out of the fourth floor window of the police station where he was being held. The bombing marked the start of a series of attacks known as "the strategy of tension" between 1969 and 1974 by the right wing group, Ordine Nuovo. Their aim was to prevent the country falling into the hands of the left -wing by duping the public into believing the bombings were part of a communist insurgency.
Two major campaigns in 1970 and in 1973-74 comprised three major coup attempts (and a few aborted ones that never reached the pages of major newspapers, but which were revealed by those involved). The 1970 campaign consisted of multiple bombings, culminating in the Piazza Fontana bombing in Milan in 1969, in which 12 people were killed, and the Borghese coup d'état in 1971. The 1973-74 campaign witnessed two major bombings, the Italicus train massacre and the Piazza della Loggia massacre in Brescia, culminating in two separate attempted coups d'état: the Rosa deiVenti coup in 1973 and the Sogno "white" coup in 1974.
Although the President of Italy, Saragat, wanted to declare a state of public emergency, something that had never occurred in the history of the Italian Republic, which would have led to future elections favoring the extreme right, Aldo Moro opposed the move. Moro's assessment of the situation in which Italy found itself convinced him that political stability could be achieved only by seconding into government the second largest party in the country, the PCI. This conviction cost him his life in 1979. He was kidnapped by the Red Brigades on the same day that Andreotti was to present his government to parliament, a government which for the first time since 1947 included the PCI. Moro was then killed 54 days later.
The attacks appeared to come to an end in 1974 but the worst strike was to come in 1980. Rosella Dossi wrote "In 1980, a bomb exploded in the waiting room of Bologna train station, killing 85 people and injuring another 200. In December 1984, another bomb exploded on the so-called "Christmas" train enroute from Florence to Bologna, killing another 15 people and injuring 267. In 1981, it was discovered that the highest levels of society, from generals to ministers of the republic, belonged to a secret Masonic Lodge intent on taking over state institutions. In 1990, Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti admitted to parliament that a secret organization, made up of military men and civilians, had existed since the 1950s, the purpose of which was to oppose, by all possible means, a government which included the Communist party.
"For the past twenty or thirty years, observers of the Italian political scene have postulated the existence of "poteri occulti" - covert powers - at work in Italy... Then in 1991, for the first time, a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry used the unspeakable words in a Report of the Massacres Commission to parliament: "il Doppio Stato" - the Dual State."

The Strategy of Global Tension

We are at War
against International Terrorism,
defending our Values
and our Civilization.

Western anti-terror legislation does not allow the state to be considered in any way culpable for terrorist activities. As far as our elected representatives are concerned, terrorism is a problem of loosely associated groups of reactionary fanatics "attacking our freedoms". The assumption, never explicitly stated for then it would be revealed, and easily and permanently ridiculed, is that the state is innocent, immune to indulging in such barbaric practices. Written into the rule of law itself, this assumption posits the state as a paternal Fuhrer, a God figure whom we must all entrust our lives and liberties to.

Yet whichever way you look at it, international terrorism has its origins in the state itself. There are many ways of understanding this, but perhaps the most pertinent for our purposes is contemporary history. We don't need to go very far back either. Only twenty odd years, to the era of the Cold War, when we were also getting Trigger-Happy trying to defend the "Free World" from the "Evil Empire" of International Communism, as Ronald Reagan put it so aptly.

The "strategy of tension" denotes a highly secretive series of interconnected covert operations conducted jointly by the CIA and MI6 largely in Western Europe during the this period. Well-documented by several respected historians, confirmed by official inquiries, and corroborated by former intelligence officials, the "strategy of tension" is one of those unsavoury moments in contemporary history that we don't learn about in school, or even university.

My favourite book on the subject, and the most authoritative in my view, is Dr. Daniele Ganser's NATO's Secret Armies: Operation Gladio and Terrorism in Western Europe (2004). Published in the UK as part of the "Contemporary Security Studies" series of London-based academic press Routledge, Ganser's study is the first major historical work to bring the "strategy of tension" into the mainstream of scholarship.

During the Cold War, indeed through to the late 1980s, the United States, United Kingdom, and Western European governments and secret services, participated in a sophisticated NATO-backed operation to engineer terrorist attacks inside Western Europe, to be blamed on the Soviet Union. The objective was to galvanize public opinion against leftwing policies and parties, and ultimately to mobilize popular support for purportedly anti-Soviet policies at home and abroad -- most of which were really designed to legitimize brutal military interventions against nationalist independence movements in the "Third World".

Ganser was a Senior Researcher at the Center for Security Studies in the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, before he moved to Basel University to teach history. Citing the transcripts of European parliamentary inquiries; the few secret documents that have been declassified; interviews with government, military and intelligence officials; and so on, Ganser shows how intimately the British were involved.

In fact, it wasn't even an American idea -- it was very much ours. The strategy of tension began on the order of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who in July 1940 called for the establishment of a secret army to "set Europe ablaze by assisting resistance movements and carrying out subversive operations in enemy held territory." (p. 40) By 4th October 1945, the British Chiefs of Staff and the Special Operations branch of MI6 directed the creation of what Ganser describes as a "skeleton network" capable of expansion either in war or to service clandestine operations abroad: "Priority was given in carrying out these tasks to countries likely to be overrun in the earliest stages of any conflict with the Soviet Union, but not as yet under Soviet domination." (p. 41) In the ensuing years, Col. Gubbins' Special Operations branch of MI6 cooperated closely with Frank Wisner's CIA covert action department Office of Policy Coordination (OPC) on White House orders, and in turn coordinated US and UK Special Forces, to establish stay-behind secret armies across western Europe. (p. 42)

Among the documents Ganser brings to attention is the classified Field Manual 30-31, with appendices FM 30-31A and FM 30-31B, authored by the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to train thousands of stay-behind officers around the world. The field manual was published in the 1987 parliamentary report of the Italian parliamentary investigation into the terrorist activities of "P2", the CIA-MI6 sponsored Italian anti-communist network. As Ganser observes: "FM 30-31 instructs the secret soldiers to carry out acts of violence in times of peace and then blame them on the Communist enemy in order to create a situation of fear and alertness. Alternatively, the secret soldiers are instructed to infiltrate the left-wing movements and then urge them to use violence." In the manual's own words:

"There may be times when Host Country Governments show passivity or indecision in the face of Communist subversion and according to the interpretation of the US secret services do not react with sufficient effectiveness... US army intelligence must have the means of launching special operations which will convince Host Country Governments and public opinion of the reality of the insurgent danger. To reach this aim US army intelligence should seek to penetrate the insurgency by means of agents on special assignment, with the task of forming special action groups among the most radical elements of the insurgency... In case it has not been possible to successfully infiltrate such agents into the leadership of the rebels it can be useful to instrumentalise extreme leftist organizations for one's own ends in order to achieve the above described targets... These special operations must remain strictly secret. Only those persons which are acting against the revolutionary uprising shall know of the involvement of the US Army..." (p. 234-297)

The existence of this secret operation exploded into public controversy when in August 1990 upon the admissions in parliament by Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti, the existence of 'Gladio' was exposed as a secret sub-section of Italian military-intelligence services, responsible for domestic bombings blamed on Italian Communists. Ganser documents in intricate detail how a subversive network created by elements of western intelligence services -- particularly that of the US and UK - orchestrated devastating waves of terrorist attacks blamed on the Soviet Union, not only in Italy, but also in Spain, Germany, France, Turkey, Greece, i.e. throughout western Europe. Despite a number of European parliamentary inquiries; an European Union resolution on the Gladio phenomenon; NATO's close-doors admissions to European ambassadors; confirmations of the international operation from senior CIA officials; and other damning documentary evidence; NATO, the CIA and MI6 have together consistently declined to release their secret files on the matter.

The Strategy of Tension simply isn't part of our historical consciousness. Very few historians of the Cold War are fully conversant with it, let alone academics working in international relations and political science. This is despite the fact that it played an instrumental role in physically constructing a threat, projected into the USSR, which did not ultimately exist. Ipso facto, the Strategy of Tension belongs to the waste-bin of history.

The immense fear and chaos generated by the impact of the Operation Gladio phenomenon throughout western Europe was instrumental in legitimizing the interventionist policies of the Anglo-American alliance in the South, throughout the Cold War period. Although the Soviet Union was supposed to be the real threat and source of terror, and thus the ultimate object of the over 70 military interventions conducted since 1945 [see William Blum's Killing Hope (London: Zed, 1995)] the Soviet threat was in fact actively exaggerated ideologically -- and even physically constructed through clandestine operations -- to mobilize the comprehensive militarization of western societies. This does not mean that many government officials did not believe their own propaganda. But we now know that there was a secretive sub-section of the Western intelligence community, known only to very few members of elected governments, that was involved in this.

The number of people who were killed across the "Third World" as a consequence of this militarization process is shocking, its implications genuinely difficult to absorb. According to Dr. J. W. Smith, a US development economist who runs the Institute for Economic Democracy in Arizona, in our glorious self-evidently noble fight to defend the "Free World" from imminent Soviet attacks, invasions, and general inconceivably irrational hell-bent pure evilness, Western states:

"... were responsible for violently killing 12 to 15 million people since WW II and causing the death of hundreds of millions more as their economies were destroyed or those countries were denied the right to restructure to care for their people. Unknown as it is, and recognizing that this has been standard practice throughout colonialism, that is the record of the Western imperial centers of capital from 1945 to 1990" [Smith, Economic Democracy: The Political Struggle of the 21st Century (2003)]

12 to 15 million people from 1945 to 1990.

I have to repeat these figures to myself to absorb their implications.

Repeat these figures to yourself.

Six million Jews in the Second World War, and now 12 to 15 million innocents in the post-WWII period. The former in the name of German lebensraum. The latter in the name of the free market.

Yet as a society, as a Civilization, we are oblivious, utterly blind, to our historic complicity in the systematic destruction of "Other" societies who fail to conform to our (deluded) self-image of universal prosperity.

It is a blindness with which we remain afflicted.

Consider Blair's rendition of the "War on Terror" in early 2007, as "a clash not between civilizations", but rather "about civilization." The War on Terror is therefore a continuation of "the age-old battle between progress and reaction, between those who embrace the modern world and those who reject its existence."

And what is this "progress", this "modernity" that should be embraced? The "progress" that slaughtered millions of men, women and children across continents, in Nicaragua, El Salvador, in Somalia, Rwanda, in Kenya, Malaya, in Oman, Iraq, etc. etc. (in no particular order and with significant omissions)?

If this is modernity then I must be a backward, semi-feudal ignoramus. Along with most of the population of the entire world. But then, who cares what the world says? Bush, Blair, and their enlightened ilk are no doubt the modern civilized ones. As long as they do what they think is right. Right???

US Presidential Campaigns Targeted by Chinese Hackers

Yet another incident in which Chinese hackers allegedly targeted US officials has come to light. According to US intelligence officials, the 2008 presidential campaigns of John McCain and Barack Obama were targeted by hackers apparently linked to the Chinese government.

Officials believe the goal of the cyber espionage operation was to harvest internal data from both presidential campaigns, NBC reports.
“Based on everything I know, this was a case of political cyberespionage by the Chinese government against the two American political parties. They were looking for positions on China, surprises that might be rolled out by campaigns against China,” said Dennis Blair, President Obama’s director of national intelligence in 2009 and 2010.
Shortly after the incident, President Obama made some references to the cyber espionage operation, but he didn’t mention anything about the identity of the attackers.
The hackers stole a lot of information, some of which has been leveraged by China. For instance, a senior Chinese diplomat called one of McCain’s foreign policy advisers and complained about a letter in which McCain pledged his support for US-Taiwan relations.
The letter was only a draft, it wasn’t sent out, but the Chinese already knew about it.
So how did the hackers gain access?
They used clever phishing emails designed to trick campaign workers into opening a malicious attachment. The custom-built malware was not detected by security solutions so it was able to gather information from the infected computers.
President Obama is expected to discuss cyber espionage with the Chinese president during a two-day summit.
China has often denied cyber espionage accusations and called for the US to stop making such groundless allegations.
However, the US keeps publishing reports on the topic and unnamed officials keep making various accusations.
A few days ago, Kaspersky Lab revealed the existence of a massive Chinese cyber espionage operation that targeted hundreds of high-profile companies from 40 countries.

Massive U.S. cyberattack planned by Anonymous

“In the cross hairs of anonymous”
The hacktivist group Anonymous announced phase one of a massive cyberattack, called Op USA,  on U.S government and banking websites scheduled for next Tuesday, May 7. The White House, the NSA, and the FBI are included on a list of high profile government targets, and 133 financial institutions including the Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Citibank are listed as banking targets.
Communicating through Pastebin on April 21, an Anonymous spokesperson stated, “Anonymous will make sure that this May 7th will be a day to remember.” They wrote that the reason for the attack is “…multiple war crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan…”.
Anonymous posted a list of targets and mapped out the method of attacks writing, “You can not stop the internet hate machine from doxes, DNS attacks, defaces, redirects, ddos attacks, database leaks, and admin take overs.”
Bank Info Security writes in an article that “Experts say the threat is serious and few of the targeted organizations, have made significant investments to withstand the attacks.” Other than the top 50 banking institutions, smaller banks are not prepared to withstand the traffic surges that a DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack brings. “The smaller banks are not prepared, and the government side is not very well prepared, either,” says an Israel-based DDoS-mitigation expert. “If a massive attack will come, I’m sure we will see many of the government websites going down.”
The Anonymous attackers said that the U.S. cyberattack would cause more damage than the Op Israel attack launched this past April 7, when they promised to “erase Israel from the Internet.” In another Pastebin post, they also announced that next year, April 7, 2014, they will attack again, “#Opisrael we gonna make it as your birthday!”
How to protect yourself
If the threat is manifested, then banking customers may find their bank’s website inaccessible for a time due to the abundance of junk traffic being sent by the attackers. There should be no risk to your personal information or accounts due to these politically-motivated attacks. Just keep a close eye on them, and report any unusual activity. And please take all the normal precautions – Use strong, unique passwords on your accounts, keep your machine’s software patched, and have  reliable protection like avast! Antivirus.

Here’s an UNCENSORED copy of the rogue LAPD officers manifesto

Christopher Dorner w/ Chief William Bratton

I know most of you who personally know me are in disbelief to hear from media reports that I am suspected of committing such horrendous murders and have taken drastic and shocking actions in the last couple of days. You are saying to yourself that this is completely out of character of the man you knew who always wore a smile wherever he was seen. I know I will be villified by the LAPD and the media. Unfortunately, this is a necessary evil that I do not enjoy but must partake andcomplete for substantial change to occur within the LAPD and reclaim my name. The department has not changed since the Rampart and Rodney King days. It has gotten worse. The consent decree should never have been lifted. The only thing that has evolved from the consent decree is those officers involved in the Rampart scandal and Rodney King incidents have since promoted to supervisor, commanders, and command staff, and executive positions.......read more

Cyber war; US attacks China

Right before US President Barack Obama’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the director of the Chinese National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center (CNCERT) made an interesting statement.
source

CNCERT report on cyberattacks (click to see full)
According to China.org.cn, Huang Chengqing said they possessed mountains of data in case they ever wanted to accuse the US of launching cyberattacks against the country. However, China believes that making accusations would not solve any problems.
CNCERT says it has cooperated with the US in solving hacking cases. The agency reports solving most of the 32 cases received from the US in the first quarter of 2013.
Huang has not denied the recent reports according to which China stole the designs for over two dozen US weapon systems.
Instead, the official said the US should not make such classified information accessible via the Internet in the first place.
A report from CNCERT shows that between January 1 and May 31, over 4,000 servers based in the US were used to compromise 2.91 million mainframe computers from China.

Anonymous warns big oil. we are coming

Anonymous hackers, most likely Muslims, have published a statement to announce the start of a new campaign. It’s called OpPetrol and it will be launched on June 20, 2013.

The campaign is aimed at several countries and governments whose wrongdoings are, in the hackers’ views, somehow connected to oil.
The list of targets comprises the US, Canada, England, Israel, the Saudi Arabian government, China, Italy, France, Russia, Germany, and the governments of Kuwait and Qatar.
“We defend our dignity and the dignity of all races, even if they are not Muslims. We are not racists. You can call us Jihadists or ‘terrorists,’ whatever you want, but the REAL terrorists know who they are, and so do we,” the hackers stated.
“They are the killers of innocents, the stealers of land, dignity, rights, and resources; they are the creators of the bombs, drones, and surveillance technologies that have stolen all that is sacred from us.”
Hackers News Bulletin reports that hackers have already leaked email addresses and associated passwords allegedly belonging to Saudi Arabian government officials.

UK's Ecuadorian embassy surveillance cost $4.5 million so far

 posted by Aaron Jackson

By spending $4.5 million on ensuring a whistleblower does not escape from an embassy, Britain has overstepped the bounds of common sense, according to Julian Assange, who does not believe the 2015 UK election will bring any change to his fate.
Assange believes his being trapped in the Ecuadorian Embassy is the result of the UK’s unwillingness to offend the US. And that sentiment is unlikely to disappear even if the ruling party is switched in Britain following the country’s 2015 election.
The Australian government taskforce against WikiLeaks is also a bow to the United States, according to the organization’s founder, who stresses there’s no single reason for persecuting the organization in a country it never leaked anything about. Australian officials meanwhile publicly announced they are looking for ways to cancel the WikiLeaks editor-in-chief’s passport – something extremely rare – last done to the Australian journalist Wilfred Burchett in the 1970s.
Assange believes this approach is “symptomatic of corruption in Canberra”, which he describes as corruption of purpose, when politicians do not represent the people, but other interests instead.
He offers his newborn political party as an alternative. In an interview with RT Assange says that as long as the WikiLeaks party has candidates running for the Senate, other participants of the election race have to “shift ground” to remain competitive, even though breaking into Australian politics from an Ecuadorian embassy in London is quite a challenging task.
RT: You are making a bid for the Australian Senate. Why?
Julian Assange: In order to promote our values within Australia. We face a very interesting situation, as an organization and me personally, with the Australian government, in response to pressure by the United States, starting to investigate our organization. It formed what it called a whole of government task force against WikiLeaks. Whole of government involved in the internal security service ASIO, the external security service ASIS, the department of defense, the Australian federal police equivalent of the FBI and the attorney general’s office. Publically announced that the Australian government would try and work out how to cancel my passport. It is an extremely rare procedure, last done to an Australian journalist in the ’60s-’70s – Wilfred Burchett. What was WikiLeaks’ connection to Australia? Was WikiLeaks publishing Australian secrets? No. Was WikiLeaks having its publishing service in Australia? No!

The connection to Australia is simply that I’m an Australian. And we also have one of our many non-profit registrations in Australia, and that’s all. And that alone and the US pressure was enough to cause the Australian government to roll over. That’s symptomatic of corruption in Canberra in general, which is a corruption not just in a regular financial sense, it’s a corruption of purpose. That when a government says that it’s going to represent the people, it’s not representing the people, it’s rather representing other interests.
RT: How easy is it to try and break into politics from inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London?
JA: It’s a fascinating situation that the Australian electoral code permits an imprisoned Australian overseas to run for the Australian Senate. That’s something quite interesting that when we first proposed that, the critics in the Australian establishment media said “Oh, that would be impossible.” But actually it is possible and the Australian Electoral Commission has recognized that. There’s been a variety of polls done in Australia that show that I have somewhere between 27 and 15 per cent support of the Australian population. Fourteen per cent is needed to be directly elected to the Senate without preferences. The WikiLeaks party itself is growing from strength to strength. We have potential candidates now in most Australian states.
RT: And on a practical level you can campaign remotely online?
JA: I don’t want to underestimate the difficulties of being in this situation. But WikiLeaks has certain abilities in using the internet, certain understanding on how to project the information on the internet. So we’ll see whether that works. I don’t know how much difficulty that’s going to be, how forgiving the Australian population will be of that difficulty. But I’m certain that the values that I have fought for 20 years, that the organization has fought for six or seven years, can be projected into the Australian debate of this election and that we will influence the policy positions of the other parties. They must shift ground if they are to be competitive with us for the Senate.
Assange Supporters

RT: How long do you anticipate staying here?
JA: As long as it takes.
RT: Do you think your personal circumstances might change if Labour comes to power?
JA: The Labor Party is in power, and that’s one of the problems. The Labor Party is the most infiltrated and economically corrupt major party in the Australian politics. We see this from the US embassy cables. For example the current Foreign Minister Bob Carr was a US embassy informant even back in the 1970s, even when he was a senior member of the New South Wales Australian Union, a union leader constantly going into the American embassy. Why was a union leader constantly going to the US embassy, informing on the then Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, white-anting Gough Whitlam? Similarly, Mark Arbib now kicked out of the Cabinet partially as a result of being exposed as a US embassy informant. And the current Prime Minister Julia Gillard, who rolled the sitting Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. Why did that happen? And how did that happen? It happened in part because she sent her invoice to the US embassy and spoke to the security staff. There was a constant back and forth in this year-long sort of preparation where she was ingratiating herself with Rudd’s place.
RT: What about the British politics? If there’s a change of power here, do you think there could be some sort of deal struck between Ecuadorians and the Labour Party in the UK?
JA: A lot has been said about the British Foreign Minister William Hague that there does not exist a diplomatic situation that William Hague cannot make worse. We’ll see whether that statement is true. So far that has proven to be true, but really for the United Kingdom they’ve been handed a poisoned chalice.
William Hague (AFP Photo / Georges Gobet)
William Hague (AFP Photo / Georges Gobet)
The United Kingdom so far admits to spending over $4.5 million just on the police surveillance around this embassy alone in the past 10 months. Utterly absurd. That money could be spent on the British population. Why is the United Kingdom doing it? It’s pushed between a number of different forces. So you have the United States on the one hand, the UK feels that it cannot offend in any manner whatsoever. On the other hand you have its interrelationships in Europe that it wants to be seen to be part of.
The United Kingdom actually wants to ship the problem away as fast as possible. But now, of course, it overstepped. The result of it overstepping is that another state has intervened, Ecuador and another way of seeing the world, another population group, another region, Latin America has intervened and said “this is not right” and we want to project our values in showing that it is not right. And so there is a clash now of cultures, rule of law and geopolitics.
2015 is the British election. I don’t think it will make any difference. The United Kingdom is a nation geopolitically of institutions. So its Foreign Commonwealth Office and MI-5, and MI-6, and the Central Bank – this is what controls the behavior of the United Kingdom, and the media a little bit. And elected representatives, they simply represent the forces that are underneath these institutions.
The present government is possibly even the best for someone in my sort of situation, which is where you have a conservative government, on the other hand you have the Liberal Democrats creating some restraint forces on the conservative government. You also have the Labour Party, which hasn’t yet worked out being the opposition they can. But perhaps overtime they’ll work out again how to be an opposition.
What opposition is meant to do is hold government to account. When you see parliamentary debates here, you see extraordinary things to me. For example, debates about extraditions to United States, how corrupting that is. In fact, the parliament voted that there must be urgent reform about what has been done with the extraditions to Europe and to the United States back in December 2011. My case was being used as an example of one of the reasons of why there should be urgent reform. And who was speaking against that? The most aggressive voices against us, that we must ship people over to the United States directly as soon as possible [were from] Labour.

Why in the world are they spraying? Chemtrail documentary

WHY in the World are They Spraying? is an investigative documentary into one of the many hidden agendas associated with chemtrail/geo-engineering programs.  Various groups are quietly pursuing these programs, but why and for whose gain?
This film is the follow-up to the groundbreaking documentary “What in the World are They Spraying?” which woke up millions to the damaging effects of chemtrails and other geo-engineering programs.  As a result, movements around the world are being formed to address these crimes and many concerned citizens are taking action.  As people become aware of “what” is happening, they are now asking the even more important question of “why” it’s happening.  Michael J. Murphy, originator and Co-Producer of “What in the World are They Spraying?,” in association with Barry Kolsky, have produced “WHY in the World are They Spraying?” to answer that question.
Get ready to uncover:
  • The environmental and human health implications of geo-engineering programs.
  • How geo-engineering can be used to control our weather.
  • What industries benefit from geo-engineering programs.
  • How the spraying affects you, your family and the future of humanity.
In this documentary you will learn how the aerosols being sprayed into our sky are used in conjunction with other technologies to control our weather.  Geo-engineers maintain that their models are only for the mitigation of the now widely debunked theory of global warming.  What is clear is that the chemtrail/geo-engineering can be used as a way to consolidate an enormous amount of both monetary and political power into the hands of the technocratic elites.  Certain international corporations can now leverage weather control to gain power over the Earth’s natural systems.  This of course, is being done at the expense of every living thing on the planet.  WHY in the World are They Spraying? is a must see film and will revolutionize the environmental movement.

Nikola Tesla, the secret movie

Encyclopedia Britannica lists Nikola Tesla as one of the top ten most fascinating people in history.
Nikola Tesla was an electrical engineer who changed the world with the invention of the AC (alternating current) induction motor, making the universal transmission and distribution of electricity possible. So why is he virtually unknown to the general public? This rare film stars Orson Welles and features a dramatic recreation of a meeting between Nikola Tesla, Industrialist J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison, that would decide the fate and future of today’s Electric Power Industry in America and the world. But what happened to Tesla?

Most hated corporation in the world, Monsanto.

by:
Natural Society
Likely the most hated corporation in the world, Monsanto definitely isn’t winning any popularity contests. But like the delusional “mean girl” in high school, they still think they have a chance at being crowned prom queen purely on the basis of their money. According to MarketWatch, Monsanto announced last week that they will not be seeking approval for new genetically modified seeds in Europe because no one there seems to want it.
A spokesperson for the huge company says it makes no sense to fight for approval when there is such little demand for their products in the region.
“As long as there’s not enough demand from farmers for these products and the public at large doesn’t accept the technology, it makes no sense to fight against windmills,” said Ursula Luettmer-Ouazane.
In reality, we are seeing major movements against Monsanto like never before. As Anthony Gucciardi detailed last week after he was the only one covering the March Against Monsanto in Philadelphia, activism has hit new highs against Monsanto and GMOs — the media just fails to cover it! But, Monsanto—not surprisingly blind to the extreme dislike the majority of people have towards them—seems to think Europeans just need more time to warm up to the idea of genetically modified, tumor-causing crops.
“It’s obvious that Europe needs more time, while other regions have embraced our concepts more readily,” added Luettmer-Ouazane.
The decision to not seek approval isn’t new, really. As a matter of fact, Monsanto hasn’t sought approval in Europe for two to three years due to the same lack of interest. And with protests against them taking place around the world, the needed-demand isn’t likely to rise anytime soon.
Eight governments of the E.U. have banned Monsanto’s GM corn and other forms of genetically modified crops. In Europe, the corn is only being grown in Spain, Portugal, and a few Eastern European countries. As a matter of fact, Europe only accounts for 12% of the company’s $13.5 billion in global sales.
Monsanto isn’t the only company in the genetically-modified game, however, their competition is also feeling the cold shoulder overseas. BASF, Syngenta, and Bayer AG’s CropScience unit have all “largely pulled out” of the markets of Western Europe.
One thing these countries have going for them are governments who see the dangers of these franken-foods and are standing by their citizens. In the United States, on the other hand, we can’t even get our government to tell us which foods contain GMOs and which do not. Monsanto is getting the feeling they aren’t welcome in Europe, but when will they get the same vibe from Americans?

GMO foods alter human DNA

 GMFood-SS-Post.jpg

Chinese researchers have found small pieces of rice ribonucleic acid (RNA) in the blood and organs of humans who eat rice. The Nanjing University-based team showed that this genetic material will bind to receptors in human liver cells and influence the uptake of cholesterol from the blood.
The type of RNA in question is called microRNA (abbreviated to miRNA) due to its small size. MiRNAs have been studied extensively since their discovery ten years ago, and have been implicated as players in several human diseases including cancer, Alzheimer's, and diabetes. They usually function by turning down or shutting down certain genes. The Chinese research provides the first in vivo example of ingested plant miRNA surviving digestion and influencing human cell function in this way.
Should the research survive scientific scrutiny -- a serious hurdle -- it could prove a game changer in many fields. It would mean that we're eating not just vitamins, protein, and fuel, but gene regulators as well.
That knowledge could deepen our understanding of many fields, including cross-species communication, co-evolution, and predator-prey relationships. It could illuminate new mechanisms for some metabolic disorders and perhaps explain how some herbal and modern medicines function.
This study had nothing to do with genetically modified (GM) food, but it could have implications on that front. The work shows a pathway by which new food products, such as GM foods, could influence human health in previously unanticipated ways.
Monsanto's website states, "There is no need for, or value in testing the safety of GM foods in humans." This viewpoint, while good for business, is built on an understanding of genetics circa 1960. It follows what's called the "Central Dogma" of genetics, which postulates a one-way chain of command between DNA and the cells DNA governs.
The Central Dogma resembles the process of ordering a pizza. The DNA codes for the kind of pizza it wants, and orders it. The RNA is the order slip, which communicates the specifics of that pizza to the cook. The finished and delivered pizza is analogous to the protein that DNA codes for.
We've known for decades that the Central Dogma, though basically correct, is overly simplistic. For example: MiRNAs that don't code for anything, pizza or otherwise, travel within cells silencing genes that are being expressed. So while one piece of DNA is ordering a pizza, it could also be bombarding the pizzeria with RNA signals that can cancel the delivery of other pizzas ordered by other bits of DNA.
Researchers have been using this phenomena to their advantage in the form of small, engineered RNA strands that are virtually identical to miRNA. In a technique called RNA interference, or RNA knockdown, these small bits of RNA are used to turn off, or "knock down," certain genes.
RNA knockdown was first used commercially in 1994 to create the Flavor Savr, a tomato with increased shelf life. In 2007, several research teams began reporting success at engineering plant RNA to kill insect predators, by knocking down certain genes. As reported in MIT's Technology Review on November 5, 2007, researchers in China used RNA knockdown to make:
...cotton plants that silence a gene that allows cotton bollworms to process the toxin gossypol, which occurs naturally in cotton. Bollworms that eat the genetically engineered cotton can't make their toxin-processing proteins, and they die.
And:
Researchers at Monsanto and Devgen, a Belgian company, made corn plants that silence a gene essential for energy production in corn rootworms; ingestion wipes out the worms within 12 days.
Humans and insects have a lot in common, genetically. If miRNA can in fact survive the gut then it's entirely possible that miRNA intended to influence insect gene regulation could also affect humans.
Monsanto's claim that human toxicology tests are unwarranted is based on the doctrine of "substantial equivalence." According to substantial equivalence, comparisons between GM and non-GM crops need only investigate the end products of DNA expression. New DNA is not considered a threat in any other way.
"So long as the introduced protein is determined to be safe, food from GM crops determined to be substantially equivalent is not expected to pose any health risks," reads Monsanto's website.
In other words, as long as the final product -- the pizza, as it were -- is non-toxic, the introduced DNA isn't any different and doesn't pose a problem. For what it's worth, if that principle were applied to intellectual property law, many of Monsanto's patents would probably be null and void.
Chen-Yu Zhang, the lead researcher on the Chinese RNA study, has made no comment regarding the implications of his work for the debate over the safety of GM food. Nonetheless, these discoveries help give shape to concerns about substantial equivalence that have been raised for years from within the scientific community.
In 1999, a group of scientists wrote a letter titled "Beyond Substantial Equivalence" to the prestigious journal Nature. In the letter, Erik Millstone et. al. called substantial equivalence "a pseudo-scientific concept" that is "inherently anti-scientific because it was created primarily to provide an excuse for not requiring biochemical or toxicological tests."
To these charges, Monsanto responded: "The concept of substantial equivalence was elaborated by international scientific and regulatory experts convened by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 1991, well before any biotechnology products were ready for market."
This response is less a rebuttal than a testimonial to Monsanto's prowess at handling regulatory affairs. Of course the term was established before any products were ready for the market. Doing so was a prerequisite to the global commercialization of GM crops. It created a legal framework for selling GM foods anywhere in the world that substantial equivalence was accepted. By the time substantial equivalence was adopted, Monsanto had already developed numerous GM crops and was actively grooming them for market.
The OECD's 34 member nations could be described as largely rich, white, developed, and sympathetic to big business. The group's current mission is to spread economic development to the rest of the world. And while the mission has yet to be accomplished, OECD has helped Monsanto spread substantial equivalence globally.
Many GM fans will point out that if we do toxicity tests on GM foods, we should also have to do toxicity testing on every other kind of food in the world.
But we've already done the testing on the existing plants. We tested them the hard way, by eating strange things and dying, or almost dying, over thousands of years. That's how we've figured out which plants are poisonous. And over the course of each of our lifetimes we've learned which foods we're allergic to.
All of the non-GM breeds and hybrid species that we eat have been shaped by the genetic variability offered by parents whose genes were similar enough that they could mate, graft, or test tube baby their way to an offspring that resembled them.
A tomato with fish genes? Not so much. That, to me, is a new plant and it should be tested. We shouldn't have to figure out if it's poisonous or allergenic the old fashioned way, especially in light of how new-fangled the science is.
It's time to re-write the rules to acknowledge how much more complicated genetic systems are than the legal regulations -- and the corporations that have written them -- give credit.
Monsanto isn't doing itself any PR favors by claiming "no need for, or value in testing the safety of GM foods in humans." Admittedly, such testing can be difficult to construct -- who really wants to volunteer to eat a bunch of GM corn just to see what happens? At the same time, if companies like Monsanto want to use processes like RNA interference to make plants that can kill insects via genetic pathways that might resemble our own, some kind of testing has to happen.
A good place to start would be the testing of introduced DNA for other effects -- miRNA-mediated or otherwise -- beyond the specific proteins they code for. But the status quo, according to Monsanto's website, is:
There is no need to test the safety of DNA introduced into GM crops. DNA (and resulting RNA) is present in almost all foods. DNA is non-toxic and the presence of DNA, in and of itself, presents no hazard.
Given what we know, that stance is arrogant. Time will tell if it's reckless.
There are computational methods of investigating whether unintended RNAs are likely to be knocking down any human genes. But thanks to this position, the best we can do is hope they're using them. Given it's opposition to the labeling of GM foods as well, it seems clear that Monsanto wants you to close your eyes, open your mouth, and swallow.
It's time for Monsanto to acknowledge that there's more to DNA than the proteins it codes for -- even if it's for no other reason than the fact that RNA alone is a lot more complicated that Watson and Crick could ever have imagined.

Murdered Genius Aaron Swartz was not depressed

The fiancée of Aaron Swartz, the US political activist and computer prodigy who was found hanged in his New York apartment earlier this year, says he was far from being depressed in the days leading to his suspicious death.
In an interview with the British weekly The Observer, Taren Stinebrickner-Kauffman said that Swartz had proposed to her only a month before his death.
Kauffman said Swartz had always been ambiguous about marriage during their 18-month friendship.
“He said, sort of out of the blue, in the context of some conversation: ‘Maybe we should get married?’” she said.
“I was just so shocked. I asked: ‘Where did that come from?’ because he had never expressed anything positive about the idea of marriage before,” Stinebrickner-Kauffman noted.
In the immediate aftermath of his death, Stinebrickner-Kauffman decried what she called an unfair prosecution that had brought intolerable pressure on the man she loved.
“I’ve read a lot about depression and it just doesn’t sound like Aaron,” she said.
“He didn’t have an absence of joy. He didn’t have an absence of human emotion… I think he was in a lot of pain. A lot of it was to do with the case. I don’t think he would have killed himself if it weren’t for the case, put it that way’” she stated.
The 26-year-old activist was found dead in his apartment in Brooklyn, New York City, on January 11.
Swartz died weeks before he was scheduled to face a trial on accusations of hacking a website and downloading millions of academic papers.
Brooklyn’s chief medical examiner ruled the death a ‘suicide by hanging,’ but no further details were available about the mysterious death.
Last year, Swartz openly criticized Washington and the Tel Aviv regime for launching joint cyber attacks against Iran.
Aaron Swartz
He was also critical of President Barack Obama’s “kill list,” a list of individuals who are suspected of terrorism by the US and are listed for targeted killing after final approval by the US president himself.
Swartz was also widely credited for co-authoring the specifications for the Web feed format RSS 1.0 (Rich Site Summary) at the age of 14. RSS is designed to deliver content from sites that change constantly, such as news pages, to users.
He was critical of the monopoly of information by corporate cartels and believed that information should be shared and available for the benefit of the society.
“Information is power. But like all power, there are those who want to keep it for themselves,” Swartz wrote in an online “manifesto” in 2008.
Based on that belief, the computer prodigy founded the nonprofit group DemandProgress.
The group launched a successful campaign to block a 2011 bill in the US House of Representatives called the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). Had it been approved, the bill would have allowed court orders to restrain access to some websites considered to be involved in the illegal sharing of intellectual property.
DemandProgress argued that the thwarted SOPA would have broadly authorized the US government to censor and restrict legitimate Web communication.

Wikileaks Assange ‘Rape’ Accuser Linked To Notorious CIA Operative

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported in American media , but for something called "sex by surprise" or "unexpected sex."

Previously we had reported that Julian Assange founder of wikiLeaks accused of rape . And warrant was issued for the arrest of Julian Assange in connection with alleged rape , which we had suspected a hand twisting.

Our speculation came true when later on the warrant for the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange were withdrawn.

Chief prosecutor Eva Finné in a statement explaining her decision said "I do not consider there to be any reason to suspect that he has committed rape."

The statement was issued in August, 2010 to confirm that Assange was no longer a suspect and is thus no longer required to contact the police.

"She (Eva Finné) has adjudged that he is not suspected of rape. There is thus no reason to retain a warrant for his arrest," Karin Rosander at the Prosecution Authority confirmed. read more

Wikileaks Assange ‘Rape’ Accuser Linked To Notorious CIA Operative

Now in latest development one of the women that is accusing WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange of sex crimes appears to have worked with a group that has connections to the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

James D. Catlin, a lawyer who recently represented Assange, said the sex assault investigation into the WikiLeaks founder is based on claims he didn't use condoms during sex with two Swedish women.

Swedish prosecutors told AOL News last week that Assange was not wanted for rape as has been reported, but for something called "sex by surprise" or "unexpected sex."

One accuser, Anna Ardin, may have "ties to the US-financed anti-Castro and anti-communist groups," according to Israel Shamir and Paul Bennett, writing for CounterPunch.

While in Cuba, Ardin worked with the Las damas de blanco (the Ladies in White), a feminist anti-Castro group.

Professor Michael Seltzer pointed out that the group is led by Carlos Alberto Montaner who is reportedly connected to the CIA.

Shamir and Bennett also describe Ardin as a "leftist" who "published her anti-Castro diatribes (see here and here) in the Swedish-language publication Revista de Asignaturas Cubanas put out by Misceláneas de Cuba."

Shamir and Bennett noted that Las damas de blanco is partially funded by the US government and also counts Luis Posada Carriles as a supporter.

A declassified 1976 document (.pdf) revealed Posada to be a CIA agent. He has been convicted of terrorist attacks that killed hundreds of people. read more

Assange no longer suspected of rape.

The warrant for the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been withdrawn, the Swedish Prosecution Authority has confirmed.

Chief prosecutor Eva Finné in a statement explaining her decision said "I do not consider there to be any reason to suspect that he has committed rape."

The statement was issued at 4.30pm on Saturday to confirm that Assange was no longer a suspect and is thus no longer required to contact the police.

"She (Eva Finné) has adjudged that he is not suspected of rape. There is thus no reason to retain a warrant for his arrest," Karin Rosander at the Prosecution Authority confirmed.

A source close to the case told the newspaper that two women in their twenties went to the police in Stockholm on Friday to speak about their recent encounters with Assange.

The Prosecution Authority released a statement on Saturday morning in which it revealed that the warrant was based on “one report of rape and one report of molestation. A warrant has been issued for the person's arrest since there is a risk that he could hamper the investigation.”

Kristinn Hrafnsson, a colleague of Assange's who spoke to news agency AFP from Iceland earlier on Saturday, rejected the charges against Assange as a fabrication, but confirmed that Assange remained in Sweden and planned to turn himself in.

There has been widespread speculation in social media on Saturday that the allegations were completely unfounded and had an ulterior motive, an accusation that WikiLeaks, and comments attributed to them on Twitter, have also helped to forward.

The WikiLeaks founder has also personally denied the accusations in an email to Stockholm daily Dagens Nyheter.

“Why these accusations are coming at this point in time is an interesting question. I haven't been contacted by the police. The allegations are false,” Julian Assange said.

WikiLeaks chose to move its servers from the United States to Sweden in 2007 as Assange believed the site would benefit from Swedish laws protecting journalists' sources.

Wikileaks Exposes Monsanto GMOs

U.S. Conspired To Retaliate Against Any Nations, If They Resisted GMOs

Wikileaks continues to rock the political world by shedding light on conspiracies, corruption and cover-ups. The latest batch of diplomatic cables pean countries by making those countries pay a steep price if they resist.

The cable reveals the words of Craig Stapleton, the US ambassador to France, who was pushing the commercial interests of the bio-tech industry by attempting to force GMOs into France. In his own words (below), he expresses his frustration with the idea that France might pass environmental laws that would hamper the expansion of GMOs:

“Europe is moving backwards not forwards on this issue with France playing a leading role, along with Austria, Italy and even the [European] Commission… Moving to retaliation will make clear that the current path has real costs to EU interests and could help strengthen European pro-biotech voice.”
Got that so far? His own words: “Retaliation” as a way to “make [it] clear” that resisting GMOs will have a price.

American Black population currently denied voting rights

The Idiot's Guide to the Voting Rights Act
Will the Supreme Court pull the teeth out of the law?
by Greg Palast for TheMudflats.net
Tuesday, 4. June 2013

This month –as early as tomorrow— the US Supreme Court will tell us whether Black and Brown citizens have the right to vote.

Now, if you saw the film Lincoln, you probably thought that issue was settled about 143 years ago. But Honest Abe never imagined a High Court occupied by Dishonest Thomas and Scalia the Scurrilous.

There’s been a lot of nonsense talk fogging the issue before the Court. To cut through the BS, the Palast Investigative Fund has made a little film, How Do You Steal a Dream?

You could call it 'The Idiot’s Guide to the Voting Rights Act.' The idiots, of course, are on the Bench.
We made How Do You Steal a Dream? in coordination with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the organization founded by Martin Luther King.

Give me 14 minutes—watch this film--and I’ll give you something you can do to stop the return of Jim Crow.

What’s at stake is Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. Without Section 5, the Voting Rights Act’s teeth fall out, and the Justice Department loses any real ability to stop Jim Crow tactics used to keep voters of color (mostly Democratic Blue) from registering and casting ballots.

Section 5 requires that 16 states with histories of Jim Crow voting restrictions “pre-clear” any changes in voting procedure with the Department of Justice.

But the right-wing Supremes say that Florida and other states subject to Section 5 no longer play games with voting rights.

Really? If you think that African-American voters are no longer vulnerable to registration purges, hours-long lines to vote in Black precincts, ID challenges and other impediments, I have two words for you: Katherine Harris.

And if you thought “Purge’n General” Harris was bad news for minority voters, her Jane Crow act was nothing compared to Governor Rick Scott’s current push to purge 180,000 “illegal alien” voters from Florida voter rolls.

Those 180,000 American citizens were only allowed to vote in last November's election because Section 5 was still alive.

Pop quiz: How many “illegal alien” voters did Governor Rick ultimately bust? Go ahead, make a guess. You’re wrong!

Get the answer in How Do You Steal a Dream?

And don’t be an idiot: pass this on. This is the Civil Rights Movement… so let’s get moving.

Anonymous Warns GMO Manufacturer

Monsanto - Expect Something “More Serious Than A Simple DDOS Attack”

Earlier this year we had reported how batch of diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks reveals what can only be characterized as a U.S.-led conspiracy to force GMOs onto European countries by making those countries pay a steep price if they resist. read it all
Now in latest development, Anonymous forms splinter cell to launch an attack “more serious than a DDOS” against GMO Manufacturer Monsanto after the company filed lawsuits against organic farmers for labeling their product as not containing growth hormones.

The Anonymous news wire recently tweeted that Monsanto is suing local dairy farmers for advertising their products do not contain growth hormones.

Monsanto Suing Dairy Farms For Advertising They Don't Use Growth Hormones
Monsanto Suing Dairy Farms For Advertising They Don't Use Growth Hormones If you are not aware, research shows that growth hormones in cows causes excess puss to form in milk and there are other negative health effects which are still up for debate within the scientific community.

In case you are not familiar with Monsanto, they manufactured the Toxic Agent Orange that was sprayed all over Vietnam and has been buried all over the US that the Feds are refusing to clean up. Monsanto also produces the Roundup pesticides , which for over 30 years the feds have known causes birth defects, but covered it up until just recently.

Anonymous is now warning Monsanto that they will soon be targeted by a hack that is much worse than a DDos.

Anonymous Warns Monsanto We Are Knocking At Your Door
In fact there is a separate splinter cell that has emerged that is focusing entirely on attacking Monsanto.

Anonymous Splinter Cell Formed To Attack Monsanto

Anonymous Message To Monsanto; We fight for farmers!

Down below is video text transcript of above message:
To the free-thinking citizens of the world:

Anonymous stands with the farmers and food organizations denouncing the practices of Monsanto We applaud the bravery of the organizations and citizens who are standing up to Monsanto, and we stand united with you against this oppressive corporate abuse. Monsanto is contaminating the world with chemicals and genetically modified food crops for profit while claiming to feed the hungry and protect the environment. Anonymous is everyone, Anyone who can not stand for injustice and decides to do something about it, We are all over the Earth and here to stay.

To Monsanto, we demand you STOP the following:

- Contaminating the global food chain with GMO's.
- Intimidating small farmers with bullying and lawsuits.
- Propagating the use of destructive pesticides and herbicides across the globe.
- Using "Terminator Technology", which renders plants sterile.
- Attempting to hijack UN climate change negotiations for your own fiscal benefit.
- Reducing farmland to desert through monoculture and the use of synthetic fertilizers.
- Inspiring suicides of hundreds of thousands of Indian farmers.
- Causing birth defects by continuing to produce the pesticide "Round-up"
- Attempting to bribe foriegn officials
- Infiltrating anti-GMO groups

Monsanto, these crimes will not go unpunished. Anonymous will not spare you nor anyone in support of your oppressive illegal business practices.

AGRA, a great example:

In 2006, AGRA, Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa, was established with funding from Bill Gates and The Rockefeller Foundation.

Among the other founding members of, AGRA, we find: Monsanto, Novartis, Sanofi-Aventis, GlaxoSmithKline, Procter and Gamble, Merck, Mosaic, Pfizer, Sumitomo Chemical and Yara. The fact that these corporations are either chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturers is no coincidence.

The people of the world see you, Monsanto. Anonymous sees you.

Seeds of Opportunism,

Climate change offers these businesses a perfect excuse to prey on the poorest countries by swooping in to "rescue" the farmers and people with their GMO crops and chemical pesticides. These corporations eradicate the traditional ways of the country's agriculture for the sake of enormous profits.

The introduction of GMOs drastically affects a local farmers income, as the price of chemicals required for GMOs and seeds from Monsanto cripples the farmer's meager profit margins.

There are even many cases of Monsanto suing small farmers after pollen from their GMO crops accidentally cross with the farmer's crops. Because Monsanto has a patent on theri brand of seed, they claim the farmer is in violation of patent laws.

These disgusting and inhumane practices will not be tolerated.
Anonymous urges all concerned citizens to stand up for these farmers, stand up for the future of your own food. Protest, organize, spread info to your friends!

SAY NO TO POISONOUS CHEMICALS IN YOUR FOOD!
SAY NO TO GMO!
SAY NO TO MONSANTO!
We are Anonymous
We are legion
We do not forgive
We do not forget
Expect us

Life on Mars

 carelessmonday.blogspot.com

An analysis of a rock sample collected by NASA's Curiosity rover shows ancient Mars could have supported living microbes.

Scientists identified sulfur, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and carbon -- some of the key chemical ingredients for life -- in the powder Curiosity drilled out of a sedimentary rock near an ancient stream bed in Gale Crater on the Red Planet last month.

"A fundamental question for this mission is whether Mars could have supported a habitable environment," said Michael Meyer, lead scientist for NASA's Mars Exploration Program at the agency's headquarters in Washington. "From what we know now, the answer is yes."

"We have characterized a very ancient, but strangely new 'gray Mars' where conditions once were favorable for life," said John Grotzinger, Mars Science Laboratory project scientist at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif. "Curiosity is on a mission of discovery and exploration, and as a team we feel there are many more exciting discoveries ahead of us in the months and years to come."

Scientists plan to work with Curiosity in the Yellowknife Bay area for many more weeks before beginning a long drive to Gale Crater's central mound, Mount Sharp. Investigating the stack of layers exposed on Mount Sharp, where clay minerals and sulfate minerals have been identified from orbit, may add information about the duration and diversity of habitable conditions.

NASA's Mars Science Laboratory Project has been using Curiosity to investigate whether an area within Mars' Gale Crater ever has offered an environment favorable for microbial life. Curiosity, carrying 10 science instruments, landed seven months ago to begin its two-year prime mission. NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., manages the project for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington.
